Nicholas Cage plays an American Cop who gets involved with a group of ex military bank robbers who are in the process of stealing over $1 million dollars when he makes a routine car violation stop. Accompanying him are his partner and Son-in-Law and a teenager who rather than being expelled from school for violent conduct agrees to ride with them as a punishment. A female Interpol agent is also on the trail of the robbers and she becomes a pawn in the dangerous game that follows.
