Based on the Assassin's Creed game series by Ubisoft, adapted from the big screen movie, this book takes us on a journey through the life of Callum Lynch, after being captured and held by Dr. Alan Rikkin and his daughter Dr. Sofia Rikkin, at an Abstergo Foundation Rehabilitation Center.
Through revolutionary technology, known as The Animus, Cal is forced to relive the memories of his ancestor, Aguilar De Nerha, in the year 15th Century Spain, during the Spanish Inquisition.
The finish line of the race to find the ancient artifact, known as the Apple of Eden, draws ever closer for the modern day Templars, whilst Cal must watch the two factions, Assassin's and Templars, fight for the control of the artifact, through the eyes of his Assassin Ancestor, as though he was the man himself. Able to see, hear, and smell everything around him in the past, and feel Aguilar's own emotions.
