Spanish Podcast On Demand (SPOD) is a series of audio files that constitute the listening part of your first year basic Spanish classes. These podcasts will provide you with more opportunities to be exposed to oral Spanish, and will help you to learn the language by listening to stories, dialogues, descriptions or interviews. Each Podcast -except the first one (Preliminar)- are numbered as 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, etc. according to the lessons in your textbook, so the content goes hand in hand with what you are learning in class. The textbook that the host mentions in each podcast is titled "Sol y viento" (2nd ed. McGraw-Hill) and the topics are based on the topics of the lessons. However, you won't find the script of these podcasts or any other material related with them in the textbook. The podcasts serve to expand on and complement the content of the textbook but are not related to it in any other way. As with any podcast, you can subscribe and listen to them as many times as you feel you need anywhere you want. You will see that the more you listen to them, the better you understand.
