Kipper Williams is one of Britain's most adaptable and popular cartoonists, best-known for the strips 'The Lady and the Wimp' for Time Out, 'Pile 'em High' for The Sunday Times and 'Eurocats' for the Guardian. This collection of Kipper's favourite and most memorable cartoons encapsulates his strengths for instantly funny observation and as a sharp commentator on current affairs, everyday life, business and politics. Since the 1970s he has been a full-time cartoonist, observing that 'academics may frown on cartoons, but I love their immediacy', and creating cartoons as a 'reaction against traditional fine art and painting'. Nonetheless his work has been acquired by the British Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Cartoon Art Trust.
