Returning to the place Kasen remembers her late wife being the happiest—Heavenly Lodge, a cozy resort nestled between the Adirondack Mountains of northern America—Kasen attempts to heal the wounds of her wife’s passing. However, Heavenly Lodge isn’t the idyllic getaway she had hoped.
Instead, it seems Kasen’s spouse left behind more than a grieving widow. The surfacing of a mystery reveals a barrage of secrets that Kasen can no longer overlook with a hidden map pointing to something buried deep in the confines of the mountains and danger in the form of an unknown group of criminals willing to do anything to uncover the secret’s buried before anyone else.
Kasen endeavors to honor her wife and solve the mystery all while trying to ignore the unwanted chemistry she feels toward the woman helping her navigate the mountains.
