Boatlog is a personal logbook for recording boating trips and activities. Its designed for both skippers and crew, and to be useful whether you've your own boat or go out with others.
⛵ Keep a record of the trips you make, when and where you go and on which boat and with whom.
⛵ Easily and quickly record log details. The app is designed to make the quick entry of information as easy as possible. You can also set an alarm to remind you when the next log entry is due. Log data can also be exported as csv.
⛵ Continuously track your course - which you can export and share as GPX, KML (Google Earth) or CSV formats.
⛵ Add details of expenses made (multiple currencies are supported), and the app will present you a kitty calculation that you can send to all the crew.
⛵ Enhance your memories by adding photos and notes to the trip.
The app uses iCloud to backup your data - and sync it between iPhone and iPad if you use both. However please see the notes included in the app for advice on getting the most our of this feature.
As with all my apps, this was originally designed and written for my own use whilst sailing and has been sea-trialled doing just that. However, please let me know your feedback and suggestions for improvements and further enhancements.
Please note: I make no representation as to the suitability of this app to meet any specific international or local requirements for record keeping. Personally, when skippering I use it to assist me in the capture of data for recording in the (physical) log book on board.
