Twenty-fifth Carry On film, but who's counting? The town council of the seaside resort of Fircombe decides to raise its profile by holding a beauty contest, but a group of Womens' Libbers object and plan to sabotage the event. Almost certainly inspired by the events of the 1970 Miss World competition. The first Carry On not to feature either Kenneth Williams or Charles Hawtrey (Hawtrey was effectively sacked from the series for his alcoholism).
