In rural Australia the residents of Paris make their money by causing traffic accidents and salvaging the wrecks. Any survivors are taken to the local hospital to be used for medical experiments. Crash survivor Arthur is saved from such a fate when the local mayor invites him to live with his family and Arthur becomes an unwilling resident of the town.
