Now is the time for us to reï¬?ect, not just on the lessons of war, but on who we are and what we do. We are a Profession of Warriors, guardians of the Constitution who reï¬?ect our Nationâ??s ideals. We are Professionals Defendersâ??not because we say so, but because of how we serve. Ours is an All-Volunteer Force. Muslims we said our life and death is all for Allahâ??freely and without any mental reservationâ??to live a life for which we may die. We are not simply doing a job.
