A Fingerprint is a lot more secure than a password because it cannot be forgotten, it cannot be stolen, and it is with you at all time and can never be used by anybody else.
NOTE: If you have an iOS 8 with a Fingerprint enabled device you will benefit from the finger print security layer otherwise you will have a normal passcode screen to access your secured photos.
Important: This app doesn't secure the photos in the iOS Photos app, however you can import your photos to this app "FingerPrint Photos Vault" and secure them with a finger print or Passcode
