Clint Eastwood is a Vietnam veteran who finds himself ordered back into governmental service for a secret mission in Firefox.
Ex-flyer Mitchell Gant, who is a distress victim from his Vietnam experience, is called back in to serve his country. His assignment? Sneak into Russia and steal a Soviet warplane which is far more advanced than any other air machine being used by the NATO alliance.
