Growing up as an orphan, Gabe lives a life of hardship. As a child, solitude and regular punishments are all he knows and freedom seems unattainable. When a priest suddenly arrives and offers him a way out, Gabe can hardly believe it. He is finally able to leave the cruelty of his childhood and begin a new life.
