Historical motorsport drama. The Ford Motor Company decides to boost its sales by launching its own racing team in an attempt to win the gruelling Le Mans 24 hour race. In charge of the project is retired racer Carroll Shelby (Damon), who hires eccentric and temperamental British driver Ken Miles (Bale). But can they overcome their Italian competition while contending with the interference of the suits running Ford?
