Learn Armenian words and spelling. The dictionary contains over 5500 words with difficulty level ranging from Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle School, to High School.

The words are catalogued and grouped to match the textbooks and chapters of the series Mer Lezun (K-8), Mer Badmutyune (4-9), Hay Thad (10). The series is printed by the Western Prelacy. The printed books are available in bookstores which carry Armenian Textbooks.

To facilitate learning, the information button provides hints, the English translation of the Armenian word.

Learn the Armenian and English equivalents.

The keyboard has the layout of the standard Armenian Typewriter used in Armenia and Diaspora.

The spelling is Classical Mesrobian Armenian.

A "Learn" panel helps app users learn the spelling of the words. Click the Learn button in the lower left to get the list of words which were not spelled correctly. Switch between Peek and Learn to view the full list of words vs. just the words which were not spelled correctly.

The words are obtained from:

* East Armenian conversational textbooks (2000 practical frequently used words).

* Mer Lezun (Armenian Language textbook) Grades K1 - K3 (kindergarten)

* Mer Lezun (Armenian Language textbook) Grades 1 - 8 (elementary to middle school)

* Mer Badmutyune (Armenian History textbook) Grades 4 - 9 (elementary to high school)

* Hay Thad (Armenian History textbook) Grade 10 (high school)

These are organized and grouped to match exactly the lessons in the textbooks.

Mer Lezun, Mer Badmutyune, and Hye Thad textbooks are published by the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

The words are in classical Mesrobian orthography.
