Real life husband and wife, Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, star in this Nineties version of the Peckinpah classic, souped up with designer sex and violence. Doc McCoy and wife Carol rob banks. When Doc goes to jail, his loyal wife goes to crime boss, Jack Benyon, and makes a deal that will see her hubby sprung. Doc McCoy has to pull a heist for Benyon with an old colleague, psychopath Rudy, who proceeds to double cross everyone concerned. When Doc and Carol manage to get away with the money they find themselves pursued by the police, as well as Rudy and Benyon's thugs.
