"HK Taxi Interpreter" is an essential utility for expats and tourists who don't speak Cantonese, and can use some help getting around in Hong Kong.
This app match the English address to Cantonese addresses, for streets and roads, hotels, or other popular Hong Kong destinations, to help you communicate with locals such as cab drivers. Local names and addresses can be presented in a full screen flashcard, and can also be dictated in Cantonese. (the Speaker button)
* FULLY FUNCTIONAL OFFLINE: All data sits on your phone, so you do not need to be online. No need for a 3G, 4G, wifi connection (nor data roaming!)
* COMPREHENSIVE DATABASE: The address database has been updated as of Jan 2015. (but please feel free to send us suggestions if anything is off or missing!)
* SPEAK: With the dictate functionality, the app will dictate the location in Cantonese. (and so can you after a few times)
* FAVORITES: Save your frequently visited addresses under Favorites.
* RECENT HISTORY: Browse your recently viewed addresses under the “Recent” page.
* MAP: Addresses are shown on a map.
* CLEAN UI: Developed for iOS 9 with a flat modern design.
