In Houses Of Knowledge, players take the roles of curators trying to build the most diverse and impressive museum possible. But beware, as museum curation is a cut throat world, and your competitors will not hesitate to steal items from your museum to place it in theirs, disrupt the market to get better prices, or use talented PRs to raise their revenue.
Houses Of Knowledge is a collection game tasking players with placing items in thematic rooms in their museums. The first player to reach eight or more items on display will trigger the end game condition, as long as items or action cards are still available. Items on display bring more revenue which is used to buy rooms, more items, but also action cards.
Action cards take the shape of different characters. Each of them offer different perks, such as protecting your museum, reorganising the market or stealing cards from your opponents' hand.
Houses Of Knowledge relies on the capacity of the players to use the different actions efficiently in potentially huge combinations of cards synergies during their turn, while trying to prevent other players to do the same.
