Season 2 of this compelling, deceit-laced drama picks up just a week and a half after the end of the first season with the appearance of Eve (introducing Famke Janssen), who shares a close bond with Annalise (Viola Davis) going way back. Annalise is preoccupied with defending Caleb and Catherine Hapstall (Kendrick Sampson, Amy Okuda), a duo accused of torturing their adoptive parents to death. Wes (Alfred Enoch), meanwhile, desperately hunts for (dead) Rebecca (Katie Findlay), with her foster brother's help; at the same time, Connor (Jack Falahee) and Oliver (Conrad Ricamora) endlessly vie for each other's affections. Asher (Matt Mcgorry) has started depending heavily on A.D.A. Emily Sinclair (Sarah Burns) to keep his secret life under wraps. And, as the little seeds that were planted in the first season begin to surface, key figures are wiped out, cover-ups follow, and even Annalise herself seems like she will barely make it out alive. As the season draws to a close, Wes starts to look into his mother's suicide 10 years earlier, revealing some unshakable ghosts.
