The subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew has been turned off at least 24 hours before the end of your current subscription period. Your iTunes account will be automatically charged within 24 hours prior to the end of your current subscription period, you will be charged for one month at a time. At anytime you can turn off auto-renew from your iTunes account settings.
