The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) will be holding its Regional Safety Management Symposium for the European and North Atlantic Region in Tallinn, Estonia from 16 to 18 October 2017.
The symposium, hosted jointly by the European Commission and the Estonian Presidency of the European Union, will provide a unique information-sharing opportunity for regulators, service providers and aviation professionals involved in safety management activities. SM2017 EUR/NAT will provide insight on how to effectively implement SSP, develop action plans for implementation in the regions; and conduct oversight of its service providers’ SMS. It will also provide an opportunity for participants to share information on the overall benefits of safety management and how safety management can contribute to the future air transportation system.
