The knitting calculator computes how to increase and decrease stitches evenly. The app is responsive, simple and intuitive, and also contains a list of abbreviations and a counter.
Tip # 1:
Use the app to figure out where to make buttonholes by entering the number of stitches and the number of buttonholes to the decrease module of the calculator. Create the buttonhole when asked to "k2tog".
Tip # 2:
Use the app to figure out how to pick up stitches to make the placket even by counting the number of stitches per inch, subtract the number of stitches the pattern says it should be every inch, using the decrease module of the calculator to find where to skip a stitch when stitches are picked up "k2tog".
