Musical adaptation of the 1937 film version of James Hilton's novel. A disparate group of travellers are on a plane which crashes in the Himalayas. They find themselves in the lost valley of Shangri-La, a paradise of harmony and eternal youth, and have to decide whether to stay there or return to the outside world. Featured in the book 'The Fifty Worst Movies Ever Made'; effectively ended the partnership of Bacharach and David and nearly ended Burt Bacharach's career entirely.
