Knockabout comedy-satire based on the novel by Terry Southern. An immensely wealthy man adopts a tramp as his heir and sets about a series of elaborate practical jokes exposing the corruption and venality of society. The script went through numerous iterations, including one written by John Cleese and Grahan Chapman - the only surviving scenes from this are the ones they appear in.
