Welcome to the Medgate App.
With this app, you have easy, fast and secure access to comprehensive medical care. You can arrange a telemedicine consultation with a physician without any intermediate administrative steps. You can do this around the clock, from anywhere and up to 48 hours in advance.
With its versatile functions adapted to the user, the Medgate App provides access to high-quality telemedicine consultation and treatment, and also ensures that your experience as a patient is optimal.

Functions of the Medgate App:

Making an appointment online:
• Arrange an appointment for a consultation with a physician in just a few steps
• Select the physician’s language (German, French, Italian, English)
• Upload images
• Display the next available appointment
• Review of all your booked appointments

Telemedicine care:
• Consultation and treatment by a Medgate physician
• Issue of prescriptions and sick leave certificates
• Referral to your general practitioner or a specialist

Digital treatment plan:
• Mobile and protected access to medical data
• Summary of the teleconsultation ((suspected) diagnosis, medications, treatment duration) in the app
• Modification of the treatment plan in the app

Notifications:
• Shortly before the date of the teleconsultation (reminder)
• On receipt of the treatment plan or if there are changes in the plan

Profile:
• Create and manage your personal profile
• Add and manage the patient profiles of children

Medgate Health Center:
• Display of the Medgate Health Centers and their current distance
• Opening hours
• How to reach the Medical Health Centers

Customer service:
• How to make direct contact with the Customer Service Center

Access:
• People whose health insurer is a Medgate partner
• People who have their own Medgate membership

Safety:
Safety is paramount. That’s why Medgate attaches great importance to data protection and medical confidentiality with the Medgate App . The user’s identity is checked with a verification process based on the identity card.
