Modern Times – Double Future is a political book set against a background of greed, power and corruption. Its setting is 2029 Washington DC. The story walks through an election campaign involving the two parties trying to garner votes through the social media. One party has an edge by controlling the algorithms of a media giant and the other hires a “fixer” who is connected to advanced AI technology that can counter the opponent messaging. Gloria and Bill are stuck in the middle while architecting and marketing their engineering ideas. The story widens when Bill’s Bahamas project is suspected of dark money funding. Project sabotage results in a murder. The outcome will surprise you.
