A group of young friends obsessed with monsters has to save the world. After finding Van Helsing's diar the Monster Squad discovers that Dracula, assisted by other classic monsters, is about to open a portal that will fill the world with monsters. Unfortunately their parents are too wrapped up in their own troubles to see the looming danger. The kids must use all their monster knowledge to take down Dracula and his gang. They will discover that not all the myths got it right and not all monsters are what they seem. Remember, if you ever encounter a werewolf, kick it in the nards!
