Observ Skin analysis with the iPad

Beauty therapists know that a profound skin analysis is an essential part of
professional skin therapy. Using the iPad and the Observ 520, prevailing
skin conditions can be identified and allow the beauty therapist to clearly
communicate on the client's skin condition and concerns and in the
recommendation of effective treatments. Also using the images acquired in

The Observ 520 with iPad provides you with an accurate diagnostic tool to
determine your client's skin conditions. The different analysis modes,
provides you with clear, sharp and detailed visualizations and assist you in
making a targeted and confident treatment and product advice.


Visualizing future skin concerns

Using this App, your iPad and the Observ 520 allows you to make a live
visualization of your client's skin conditions below the surface that are
not visual in natural daylight. By visualizing this you can make your client
aware of facial skin concerns that are developing and propose preventive
treatment options.


Monitoring your treatment plans

Using the App you can store and retrieve images of your clients of the
current and past sessions. In this way you can compare the side-by-side
clinical reference pictures and monitor the progress of your treatment
plans.


Easy-to-use App controls

The App controls the Observ 520 via Bluetooth 4.0 and offers you the
possibility to switch between modes at any time during your skin
consultation from the iPad. The daylight illumination mode option allows you
and your client to observe how identified skin conditions manifest
themselves in the daylight. By switching between the
Wood's/UV/Cross/Parallel Polarization modes, the manifestation of skin
conditions can be studied in great detail. Thereby you are able to modify
the build-up of the spectral components and in this way enhance the
appearance of particular skin conditions. In the automatic mode, the system
acquires sequentially all the images for a complete skin analysis session.
Each of those sessions can be filed in the client database and can be
retrieved later for comparison and evaluation.
