The debut EP by heavy metal act, The Offering. The record features a tasteful amalgam of several hard rock and metal genres put together seamlessly into a unique, modern-classic aggressive sound, filled with top notch, deep musical compositions, and extreme, adept vocal performances, all put together into powerful song arrangements.
The Offering's debut EP has gained the endorsement of many veterans in the genre, including metal legends Kelly Schaefer of Atheist and Gen Vincent of Genitorturers. The former has lauded the band countless times as the new face of heavy metal, while the latter staked her faith in the band's capabilities by placing them on a Fall Halloween US tour with Genitorturers, where the band partnered with videographer Sam Harchik to shoot their music video for the single, "The Well." The EP was written in Waterville, New Hampshire, and recorded in Greenwich, New York at the Grammy award winning Edie Road Recording Studios with the assistance of award winning engineer Marc Fuller, produced by guitarist Nishad George. The album's post production was handled in Orebro, Sweden by the world renowned Fascination Street Studios, a studio that has worked with metal legends such as Arch Enemy, Opeth, Dragonforce, Moonspell, and At The Gates. The album was mixed by engineer Andre Alvinzi and mastered by the well reputable metal veteran Jens Bogren.
