Psycho

1959 | Fiction & Poetry

A young woman named Mary Crane arrives one night at the Bates Motel along an unused highway using an alias and attempting to cover her tracks. She arrives there only to be greeted by an obese middle aged man named Norman Bates. Norman however is not the nice average guy he at first seems to be, as Mary would soon discover. Bloch's novel, which was the main inspiration for Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho, takes readers on journey into the mind of a true Psycho. A must read for anyone who loves psychology or thriller novels.
