Inspired by Pushkin's short story of the same name, this is a contemporary take on a small-town casino--both it's workers new and old, along with it's mythical regulars, the high-roller suite, and the inevitable tourists.
Completely. charming, smart, clear writing, and definitely a new author to keep an eye on.
