From a mid 1800s pioneer woman who saves her small clan from certain death to her many descendants that all leave a mark on this small and unusual town, you will be drawn into their loves, hopes, dreams and tragedies as each story unfolds. Never before has a writer managed to bring together a series of short stories with a common thread in such an intricate way so as to keep the reader intrigued until the final page. Each story spans a decade or two, following the women who keep the town alive and interesting in their own unique and sometimes fantastical ways.
