If you thought the remake looked good, wait until you see the HD version! This is the game that defined the survival-horror genre and launched a franchise that has sold over 61 million copies. The original Resident Evil was released in 1996, and the remake arrived in 2002. The remake was built from scratch by the same creators and was considered a masterpiece.
