Sharan is a library of audiobooks exceptionally in Armenian and includes creations of Armenian Classical Writers from V century to our days. Creatins of such Armenians as Pavstos Buzand (V c.), Grigor Narekaci (X-XI c.), Nerses Shnorhali (XII c.), Sayat Nova (XVI c.), Hakob Paronyan (1843-1891), Petros Duryan (1851-1872), Misaq Metsarenc (1886-1908), Hovhannes Tumanyan (1869-1923), Paruyr Sevak (1924-1971), Hamo Sahyan (1914-1993), Pertch Zeytuncyan (b. 1938) and many others. Among performers there are Hrachya Nersisyan, Sos Sargsyan, Sargis Najaryan.
The aim of Sharan is to provide a unique link to Armenians and those who are interested in Armenian to access our reachest litearature creations. We know that many Armenians, spread all over the world, would like to enjoy and let their children and grandchildren enjoy creations of one of the most whealty literatures. Sharan lets non-Armenian speakers to enjoy our beautiful language and learn it. Currently we have only a small part of what Armenians have created from Gold Circle (IV-V cc.) to our days. However, it will be constantly updated to include as much creations as one can access.
