Mild-mannered CIA analyst Susan Cooper (Melissa McCarthy) is the "voice in the ear" of superstar field agent Bradley Fine (Jude Law), helping him take down the world's greatest threats behind the safety of her desk. When Fine is killed in the action by Bulgarian arms dealer Rayna Boyanov (Rose Byrne), Susan must overcome her inhibitions and enter the field to bring justice for the death of her beloved partner. With the help of another overconfident agent, Rick Fox (Jason Statham), she may just get the job done.
