Hard SF detective series set in the year 2027. Nathan Spring, a brilliant but cynical detective, is manipulated into taking the position of commander of the International Space Police Force (a.k.a. the 'Star Cops'). He finds himself having to deal with a corrupt force of part-timers, and this is before his team has to attempt to solve a range of crimes in orbit and beyond.
