What is an African storyteller called? a griot. The griot's role was to preserve the genealogies and oral traditions of the tribe. Our book, more an art project, is written in this format.
In 1619 the first slave arrived 400 years ago. On the anniversary we take a walk through the history and legacy of slavery. Told by the author through Slave Narratives, Photos, Art and Poetry.
For people denied the right to read or write the book is more a creative and artistic endeavor.
