In the past, Senzou the black fox abused his special powers, causing harm to others. The Sun Goddess imprisoned him for many years as punishment. 300 years later, Senzou is released, but no longer has his powers for the time being. He will only get them back if he successfully raises a Tanuki pup to become an assistant to the gods. Senzou is a pessimistic and impatient being. Having to suddenly be responsible for a very young, energetic, outgoing, happy pup is not his idea of a great task. He will need to figure out how to get along in his new task or risk losing his powers forever.
