A few weeks before Christmas, medium Emma Whitecastle begins hearing the voice of a young boy named Kaleb asking for help. At first she thinks it is the spirit of a deceased child, but soon realizes the boy is very much alive and communicating with her telepathically. This is new territory for Emma and Granny Apples. Is the boy missing? Why does he need help? Their communication is sketchy and frustrating for Emma. Two days later there is a report of a missing boy with the same name. Emma, Phil, and Granny team up with detectives to find the boy, racing against the clock before it's too late for the child.
