A co-production between the British film studio Hammer, best known for their horror movies, and Shaw Brothers of Hong Kong, intended to cash in on the martial arts movie boom of the middle 1970s. Directed by Roy Ward Baker and (uncredited) Chang Cheh.
Professor Van Helsing (Peter Cushing) is recruited by a group of Chinese kung fu fighters to help deal with a village cursed by an army of undead warriors, not suspecting his enemies are being assisted by the arch-vampire Dracula.
