Mallie Williams is a young woman, finding her way in her new adult life when tragedy strikes. On one absolutely horrific night, Mallie becomes the victim of a very violent crime. She is raped, beaten, and left to die. She lays in the hospital, comatose, when the discovery is made that the rape has resulted in pregnancy. Without Mallie's ability to make a decision for herself, the people closest to her fight for what they think is the right decision regarding her pregnancy. Over a year later, Mallie regains consciousness and must begin to regain a foothold on the life that she hasn't been a part of for so long.
