More than a million people came to witness one of the most important moments in maritime history when Cunard's Three Queens returned to their spiritual home. The eyes of the world were on Liverpool - the famous shipping line's birthplace - as Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth gathered on the River Mersey. It was one of the biggest events ever staged in the city and a momentous occasion which will live long in the memory.
