Transformers Rise of the Beasts (2023) reviews from people you don't follow
I heard this is something like the 7th entry in the main 'Transformers' non-cartoon movie series.
7.
I still remember the first.
This is also a prequel, of sorts, set during the 1990s instead of the more contemporary setting of the earlier (mid 2000) movies, with a new cast of human characters alongside the Autobots and - here - the Terracons and the Maximals.
For some reason, however, I found it not to be as engaging as those earlier (maximum Bayhem!) entries, even though it is clearer on just what is happening - maybe it's the fusion of sound and vision that's missing?
Anyway, it's not bad but I still prefer the first two entries in particular (before it all went massively downhill).

Watched today after so many not so great transformers movies with revenge of the fallen being the best sequel followed by bumblebee next best and now rise of the beasts the third best. Anyway the plot is self-explanatory u got good robots and bad robots who change into all manner of beasts and cars and trucks with Peter Cullen back again as optimus prime still the definitive prime in my opinion and I'm sticking with it if this is your type of movie go watch
Cool 90's vibe (1 more)
Great Soundtrack
Autobots roll out!
Another Transformers Film but this time it's more of a prequel set in '94. As with Bumblebee that had a great 80's vibe this somes up the era well. Especially with a cool RnB soundtrack to boot. Some cool SFX as always and good Action scenes make this more fun than the last outing.
