The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 replaced the Water Supply Byelaws in England and Wales on the 1st July 1999. Similar requirements were adopted in Scotland as the Water Byelaws 2000, Scotland on 4th April 2000. Northern Ireland is also expected to adopt the new requirements in the future.
The Water Regulations Guide is the successor to the popular Water Supply Byelaws Guide and includes the full text of the new Regulations and Scottish Byelaws, the DETR (DEFRA) guidance clauses and water industry recommendations and interpretations. The guide also includes many clearly illustrated drawings in full colour.
