The West Wing - Season 2

2000 | Drama

The West Wing is an American serial political drama television series created by Aaron Sorkin that was originally broadcast on NBC from September 22, 1999, to May 14, 2006.[2] The series is set primarily in the West Wing of the White House, where the Oval Office and offices of presidential senior staff are located, during the fictitious Democratic administration of Josiah Bartlet (played by Martin Sheen).
The second season starts up where season 1 ends. There has been a shooting outside a political rally, President Bartlett has been wounded and Josh has sustained a bullet wound to the chest. The season includes an explanation of how the Bartlet White House Staff came together. The staff overcomes many situations including the midterms, State of Union Address, family drama and debates on whether the president will run for a second term.
