Weather Alarm – Bad Weather Advisory Service and Weather Forecasting
Weather Alarm sends free storm alerts in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, also providing the latest weather forecasts and local weather outlook, including HD livecams. More than a million people already use the Weather Alarm service at home, at work or at leisure to receive warnings of natural hazards or obtain the latest weather information.
Weather Alarm app features:
- RANGE OF ALERT TYPES
Define the type of alert and alert level that you wish to be notified of. Whether heavy rain, wind and gales, flooding, frost, ice, heavy snow or storms and hail, Weather Alarm warns you about natural hazards. Official warnings of earthquakes, avalanches, heavy rain and other situations are also communicated through the app.
Level 1 – Yellow alert: Moderate danger - minor damage possible
Level 2 – Orange alert: Considerable danger - damage to property is probable
Level 3 – Red alert: High danger – severe weather causing major damage and possibly even danger to life

With 172 regions in Switzerland and Liechtenstein we can provide you with accurate warnings and weather information, whether you are in the city, in the mountains, on the lakes or somewhere in between.
- CURRENT WEATHER OVERVIEW
Storm maps, forecast maps, rain radar, flood maps and lightning radar all give detailed information on the current weather situation. The Weather Alarm is your ideal guide to the weather all year round, whatever the season.
- LATEST WEATHER & FORECAST
You’ll also have the latest information for the days ahead: The Weather Alarm app provides weather reports with information on temperatures, precipitation, wind speed and sunshine hours.
- LIVECAMS (NEW!)
Check weather conditions in real time. In colaboration with Seitz Photechnics AG, Weather Alarm offers zoomable panorama images in HD from more than 150 webcams.
Go to the menu in the app and select “Favorit hinzufügen” or tap on the plus sign on the start screen and enter “Livecam” in the search field.
- LAKE & RIVER LEVELS
Alongside water temperature, flow and depth information, the Weather Alarm also supplies details on the state of streams, rivers and lakes.
- FREE SAFETY TIPS
To help you avoid costly damage caused by bad weather, we provide free safety tips and hints about preventive measures you can take to protect yourself and your property.
- WIDGET
Add the weather alarm widget to the home screen of your iPhone or iPad. Scroll through your favorites to see the weather for the next hours or days without having to open the app. (from iOS10)
- SHARE ALERTS AND LIVECAM IMAGES WITH YOUR FRIENDS
Warn your nearest and dearest by sharing the weather alerts on Facebook, and WhatsApp, or by e-mail or text message (SMS). And also share wonderful live cam images.
