Robin Hardy's long-in-the-works follow-up to The Wicker Man, not a direct sequel as much as a semi-remake exploring similar themes. A pair of American evangelical Christian missionaries, on a visit to Scotland, are invited to a small village to attend their May Day celebrations. The local laird has a central role in mind for them which is not entirely what they were expecting. Christopher Lee has a tiny, wordless cameo.
