Icelandic-Ukrainian comedy drama. Halla, a woman in her forties, becomes a committed environmental activist, sabotaging powerlines supplying polluting factories. The authorities are on her trail and her campaign is building to a climax when she discovers an application to adopt she made years ago has been successful. Submitted as Iceland's entry to the Best Foreign Language category at the Oscars (unsuccessfully). English remake with Jodie Foster is on the way.
