Josie Blair is a struggling designer who moved back to Dorset Falls from New York to take care of her great-uncle Eb who has a broken leg and a yarn shop that his wife Cora left behind when she died in a tragic accident.
While trying to decide what to do with the yarn shop, Josie finds a member of the local charity knitting group buried under boxes of cashmere in the back room of the shop. How did she get back there? Who could have done this? Why did she have a knitted cord around her neck? Josie doesn't know, but with the help of one of the charity knitters, there is no way this will remain unsolved.
