Last seen in (I believe) <i><s>Mort</s>Eric</i>, Terry Pratchett returns to his original Discworld characters of Rincewind and TwoFlower (and Cohen the Barbarian). In this entry, Rincewind is 'rescued' by the Wizards of Unseen University - a University that has changed since he was last there - from his desert island, only to be sent to the Counterweight Continent, where war is brewing ...

For some reason, this is not one of the Discworld books I would return to all that often (never found the Rincewind stories to be amongst the most enjoyable), but still has plenty of laugh out loud moments, alongside some other shrewd observations about life in general.

It's all cracking off in 1970's London!

I love Jan, she's interesting and a pretty relatable character. She takes things in her stride and isn't from the conventional housewife mould.

A Mirror Murder is well written with a great description of how London looked and the particular aromas the city had back in the 1970's...... basically grim. It does make a good backdrop for murder and budding romance though.

Perfect for an afternoon read and the best part is that it's the start of a series, I do love a series! Even more so when there's already a few more ready to read so there's no waiting for the next fix.

⚖️ “In a city divided by prejudice and power, one Sicilian immigrant must fight to survive amid corruption, violence, and the deadliest lynching in U.S. history.”

Based on true events, S. R. Perricone’s Cobblestones – A New Orleans Tragedy is a gripping tale of injustice, survival, and the fight for dignity in a city torn apart by fear and hate.

Alan Rickman as the Sheriff of Nottingham
Pure 90's Blockbuster
A great all star cast action adventure story of Robin Hood. Alan Rickman is perfect as the evil, crazy sheriff of Nottingham. It has some big stunts and battles, and plenty of humour, something for everyone.

A full review and analysis of the new Assassin's Creed Origins is up on my website. I made a small review on here but this article contains a bit more detail about the different elements to the game that I've learned about since it's reveal.
