"Preston Sturges and Barbara Stanwyck at the height of their respective games. Hilarious, bejeweled with 18-karat dialogue at every turn, and a gleeful assault on the hypocrisy of American sexual mores that persists even now. I still can’t believe this movie ever got made."

This is the album I listen to whenever I'm feeling down. Khalid is an 18 years and so am i. It's riveting listening to an album made by someone that is the same age as me. It feels real and the songs are relatable.

"When I was 18 and had a job framing pictures in a gallery, the guy working next to me would always play opera, and I thought he was a nutter. But now I adore it. Maria Callas will never go missing in my listening, because she rocks."

"Full disclosure: I was the acquiring editor of this book for Pantheon, and back in 1999 I pitched it to the Random House sales force as ‘The “Ulysses” of comics.’ I think that description holds up just fine 18 years and just as many re-printings later."

As mentioned in my previous updates, I didn't realise when I downloaded this back in 2012/13 that it was BDSM, or I wouldn't have bothered. It's not something I particularly enjoy reading about unless it's heavy on the romance at the same time and Mr Cavendish had already told her multiple times by the 18% mark that he wasn't interested in a relationship, which isn't good in my view. I figure he's likely to change his mind a little further in but I'm already struggling to like him so, you know...and then sex scenes? Nah. Wasn't going how I expected so I give up.

A masterpiece of modern cinema. Just as brilliant now as it was 18 years ago. A timeless classic, with some of the best dialogue and delivery imaginable.

Well cast and consistently well performed, with an indie feel but endowed with main stream sensibilities. This is a MUST SEE!

Mario & Luigi is a wonderfully Mario game with references all across the board...even knowledge of Dr. Mario plays an important part in some of the gameplay.

Not the best marvel movie I've seen but I have soft spot for the movie after 18 years since it first came out there are some good action scenes thruout the movie and it wouldn't be the same without jennifer garner playing elektra shame it never got a sequel
